the brown family

"While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about."
-Angela Schwindt

It was a beautiful thing to witness first hand how loved this spunky little girl is. Thank you, Brown family, for inviting us to your beautiful farm to capture these memories for you.

the friesen family

Three cute kids. An awesome couple. A chilly morning. And two photographers. It was a winning combination. :) Plus, it helps when they also happen to be great friends of yours! Thanks, Friesens, for commissioning us for these fun photographs! It was so great to see you guys again, albeit for a brief amount of time.

a mid-fall family session

We cannot speak of photographing this family without mentioning how hilarious it was to photograph these spunky siblings. These kids are as fiery as their red hair, that's for sure! Any pose we could think of, they would run with and throw all of their personality into. It was so much fun watching them interact and make it their own.

the hoven family

A forest, fall leaves, birthday cake and balloons! What a pleasure to shoot this family's photos (again!) and capture their son's first birthday. We hope these photos bring many fond memories of your time in Weyburn and we wish you the best on your move to a new city.

the preuter family

If I (Andrea) had a bucket list of families that I hope to one day photograph, this family would have certainly been on it. I met Candice and Josiah when I was at Bible college. They were the only married couple in our class, and I couldn't help but notice how fond they were of each other. Fast forward five years, and all I can say is that the love has only grown between them. It was such a privilege to photograph them and (finally!) meet their three beautiful little boys in person.

the white family

Photographing this family for me (Andrea) was really, really special. Criston and I met at Bible college and became instant friends. I may have even been there the very first time she met her future husband. Two of our babies were due within a week of each other (but, oddly enough, were born almost a month apart!), and, although we lived in different provinces for the majority of the last five years, now we're just 30 minutes away from each other. I simply must insist, yet again, that photographing people I know and love is the greatest privilege of all!

the fladeland family

Golden hour. Three gorgeous little munchkins. Baby rolls. Does it get much better than this? From a photographer's perspective, not really. Thank you, Fladelands, for allowing us the privilege to photograph your gorgeous family. It's images like this that are why we oh-so-love photographing people.

the schwindt family: lifestyle session

Have you ever wanted to slow down time, to freeze a frame of this crazy thing we call life and remember that moment forever? Sometimes it seems impossible to grasp the beauty of what we do every day because we're down in the trenches, doing the things we as moms (or dads) think no one will ever remember. Although it can no way cover the thousand little (and yet not little at all) things that happen each day, a lifestyle session is a wonderful way to help preserve those precious, day-to-day moments in our memories before they are gone.

We would be honoured to come alongside you and your family, and act as a fly on the wall of your home. A meal, daily routines, or simply a good romp out in the yard with dad are the perfect opportunities for us to photograph you, and we would love to show you the enormous beauty in them.

Thank you so much, Schwindts, for inviting us into your home to do just that. We treasure the memories made, the moments immortalized.

the hunter family

Honoured. That's the only word we can think of to describe how we felt having been asked to do photos for this family. Jessica is a photographer in the same area as us, and when her email popped up in our inbox, we immediately felt unequal to the task. On the day of the shoot, it looked like we were going to get dumped on, and we were under a severe thunderstorm watch.  But, in true Saskatchewan form, nothing came of it, and we ended up having a really fun shoot with some really gorgeous light!

Jessica, thanks for seeking us out! Your family was so much fun to interact with and photograph. Check out Jessica's Facebook page to see her mad photography skillz.

the brucks family

Photographing four kids four and under seemed like a daunting task at first, but this family made our job incredibly simple. Just look at those sweet little faces! And the love in the parents' eyes! It truly was a privilege to capture those days that just go by too fast for them.

tanya

Happy Mother's Day to all of the beautiful women out there who bear a mama's heart! This mama and her son sure were smitten with each other. It was a privilege photographing her and her (extremely) handsome little guy, even if it was a bit chilly that day!
