in which daniel and elizabeth's wait is over

Meet Daniel and Liz. He, from the states. She, prairie born and raised. They met in unconventional circumstances, and, before they had really spent much time together, Daniel had asked her father for permission to court her. Their love was a beautiful thing to behold as it tenderly started to take root. Everything they did was upfront and honest, and they welcomed the guidance and accountability of their friends and family. When he finally proposed, no one was surprised. He was willing to sacrifice everything for his bride, including leaving his (slightly) balmier home state. On the morning of their wedding, the excitement was tangible. They had been faithful to each other. They had been patient. Their wait was over. And we - honoured, privileged, and completely unworthy as we were - captured that moment in time.
